Lighting Design

Our lighting designers understand the importance of delivering the right amount of illumination to support user health and wellbeing.

The built environment influences not only our mood but our overall health and wellbeing. Ghafari’s lighting design team understands the importance of delivering the right amount of illumination to generate elegant, energy-efficient solutions for every space.

Collaborating with our architects and interior designers, Ghafari’s lighting team considers the needs of the space from the beginning of the design process. Our ability to balance efficient systems with pleasing aesthetics results in optimal solutions for our clients’ projects.

In addition to lighting design and luminaire selections, our designers assist in developing engineering solutions, performing calculations using software such as AGI32, Elumtools, Visual, AGI, and Dialux to run normal and emergency calculations that meet IES / owner and code-required light levels.

Why did you become a lighting designer?

While earning my interior design certification, I continued to be struck by how natural and manmade light can define a space before you even get to the interiors!
