SAMI Land Celebrates New Military Vehicle Facility with Groundbreaking Ceremony

Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) Land Systems Division recently celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the new 810,000 SF (75,000 SM) military vehicle fabrication manufacturing complex in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. Ghafari validated operational layouts and provided design services by utilizing BIM technologies and workflows. The new facility will play a significant role in furthering Saudi Arabia’s goals of self-sufficiency in military vehicle manufacturing, as well as advance national expertise in the fields of manufacturing, maintenance, repair, research, and development.
