Given the growing demand from multiple North American electric vehicle manufacturers, China-based SEMCORP – currently the largest lithium-ion battery separator film producer in the world – is expanding into the U.S. with an all-new manufacturing facility in Ohio.

A key component of the EV battery supply chain.

Ghafari is providing full architecture / engineering services, including industrial and process engineering, on this key supply chain project, which incorporates eight production lines and extensive 950-foot-long assembly lines. Our specialists in workplace design are also providing design direction for the on-site office building for HR, IT, accounting, and administrative staff, along with conference rooms and a showroom.
